Happy 7 months ABJ!!

It is very much to the part that I waited, yet another month, to update you blog.  I have so many pictures to put up here on my camera, but I have busted my adapter to upload to the computer and need to buy another one! In the meantime thank goodness for my iPhone where I have been keep track via cell phone!!

And last but not least, Sassy still talks about the first time she dropped me when I was an infant and how tramatic the entire experience was. "YOU ROLLED OUT YOUR MOSES BASKET AND CONTINUED ROLLING DOWN THE GRASSY HILL."

I type that phrase in all caps because I have been hearing this story for years!!

Well, I now know why a mother would never get over that first experience! Because it happened to me! It was Saturday morning 7.9.11 and it was the first morning it wasn't boiling hot so I decided to take off for a morning stroll. I loaded you up along with Brother George in his leash and we went a walkin! We walked, and walked, and walked and walked some more! An hour and 30 minutes later we stopped along Mitchell Avenue and I put the stroller in park, with brother George attached and walked three steps away from your stroller....

Thats right, George was attached to the stroller and he went to follow me.

 Your parked stroller flipped over on its side with you inside!

You started screaming, George's tail went straight between his legs and he started crying and there I stood, with you crying and looking straight into my eyes.   How I could have made that mistake? Tying Brother George to your stroller?  

I will forever remember that day, and I too,will tell you this story for the rest of your life....

(and I am so sorry!!!)

Shame!

Shame of me for so many reasons!

It has been so long since I blogged, that I had to reset my password because I couldnt remember.  There are probably things and milestones I am not going to remember because I have waited so long to update this.  It won't happen again AB

What has happened in your everday life, Allie Boone, since my last update?

* You are scooting.
* You eat 32 ounces of formula, 2-4 jars of babyfood, and 3 tablespoons of cereal daily.
*  You hang your hands off your highchair for George to lick while you eat.
* You are cutting your first tooth.
* You sleep through the night (except you stopped when Sassy told me I was feeding you too much - so I stopped and you started waking up to eat again),
* When you cry, you have tears now. 
* You wear 12/18 month clothing.
* You have met all of your Daddy Boone's brothers and sisters.

Better late than never!

Well, along with several other small things, I have neglected my writing over the last few weeks.  Should I say the last month!!

So Miss AB here are the new things you have done in my lapse of me not being a good note taker....

* You went swimming for the first time in the pool. hmmmmm

 

* You met the Easter Bunny for the first time and after your first friend spend the night - aka Britton.

 

 

 

* You caught and recovered from your first head cold

* You are  loving walking in your Baby Bjorn 

*You are officially cutting teeth!

*  You eat 2 - 3 tablespoons per night of cereal as well as baby food.  Baby food of choice that you like: Squash, Peas and Pears. You HATE apples!

* You met sweet Mazelle!

* At your 4-month appointment you were: 99% weight / 99% height and 97% head

Poolside, Weddings and Engagment Party!

AB had her first pool side day almost 2 weeks ago along with Kenley and George.  It was such great weather and I sat her in her bouncy seat for 2 hours and she watched Kenley and George entertain one another the entire time!

 

 

  

 The following Thursday we loaded up AB to go and stay at both her grandma's houses (Thank you!!!) and headed up to Macon for Jordan and Travis' Wedding weekend!  What great weather and it was so perfect! All the way around!! 

 

  

 

 

 

  

 

After a wonderful wedding weekend in Macon, we headed to celebrate Rebecca and DC's engagment and upcoming wedding this October. It was a beautiful night and I am so excited to watch one of my oldest friends get married!

 

I came home after all my festivities this weekend to find that Little Miss is officially a stomach sleeper.   

Spring Weekend

Goodbye swing and hello jumperoo! We had generous friends let us
burrow a jumperoo for AB



We spend Saturday afternoon at the Boyds house for a shower for Rett and Ransey and baby XXXX Boyd.  AB made it till 7:00 then we dropped her off and Aunt Ray babysat AB for the first time. Thanks Ray!

Sunday was Allie Boone's Baptism.  We had the Baptism dress that both Garretts girls wore along with me and Garrett but it was too small for little Miss so she wore Rachel's dress that Leslie had.  Thank you Sassy and G-Momma for a wonderful brunch afterwards!
